Terms of service

These terms cover buying from Press-On Nails at presson.com.au. Placing an order means you accept them, so they are worth the two minutes. In them, “we” and “us” mean Press-On Nails, and “you” means whoever is browsing or buying.

Who can order

• You need to be able to enter a contract. If you are under 18, order with a parent or guardian.
• We deliver to the countries offered at checkout. If yours is not on the list, we cannot get a parcel to you yet.
• We can refuse or cancel an order — a pricing error, a set we cannot fill, or an order we think is fraudulent. If we have already been paid, you are refunded in full.

What you are buying

• Every set is hand-finished in small batches. Slight variation between sets is the nature of that, not a fault.
• Screens differ. The colour in your hand will not be an exact match for the colour on your monitor or phone.
• Our size guide measures across the nail bed in millimetres. It is a guide to fit, not a guarantee of it — measure before you order rather than after.
• How long a set wears depends on prep, application and what your hands do all day. The wear times we quote are what a well-prepped set typically manages.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in Australian dollars and include any tax we are required to charge. Delivery is added at checkout unless your order qualifies for free shipping.
• Prices can change at any time before you order. What you pay is what the checkout shows you.
• Payment runs through Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s own secure page — they never reach us, and we cannot see or store your card number.
• Discount codes apply to the order they are used on, are not exchangeable for cash, and can be withdrawn at any time.
• An order is accepted once payment has gone through. Stripe issues the receipt for it; if we cannot fill the order after that, we will email you and refund you.

Pre-orders

• Some sold-out sizes can be pre-ordered. You pay at checkout, and the ship date shown on the product is our honest estimate — not a promise to the day.
• If that date slips and you would rather not wait, email us before your set is dispatched and we will refund you in full.

Delivery

• Orders are posted from Australia, usually within one to two business days.
• The delivery estimates at checkout are in business days and start when the parcel reaches the carrier. What happens after that is outside our hands.
• Delivery is free on orders over $99 within Australia.
• International orders may attract duty or tax on arrival. Those are yours to pay and are not part of what you pay us.
• Check your address before you pay. We cannot redirect a posted parcel, and a set that comes back to us undeliverable is refunded less the postage.

Returns, faults and your rights

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing on this page limits those rights.

• Changed your mind: send an unopened, unused set back within 30 days of delivery and we will refund it. Return postage is yours, and the set has to reach us in the condition it left us in.
• Nails are a hygiene product. Once a set has been opened or worn we cannot take it back for change of mind.
• Faulty, damaged or not as described: you are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. If the failure is not major, we can choose to repair, replace or refund.
• Either way, start by emailing hello@presson.com.au with your order number — and a photo, if it is a fault. The sooner after you notice, the easier it is for both of us.

Using the site

• The photography, words and design here are ours. Link to us freely; do not copy, resell or scrape.
• The Press-On Nails name and branding are ours to use.
• Do not attempt to break, overload or interfere with the site, or use it for anything unlawful.
• Tag us or send us a photo of your set and you are giving us permission to reshare it on our own channels, with credit. Ask us to take it down and we will.

What we do not promise

• We work to keep the site up, accurate and current, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free.
• We can change or withdraw products, prices and content at any time.
• Where the law allows us to limit our liability, it is limited to resupplying the goods or refunding what you paid for them. That does not cut down any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes, and if something goes wrong

• We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order is the one that governs that order.
• These terms are governed by Australian law, and Australian courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
• Tell us first — hello@presson.com.au. Almost everything sorts out faster in an inbox than anywhere else.
